Lucid

Every scrap of information adds to your madness. Madness leads you to pick up your dreams where you left them. You attempt to make your way through them, dreaming lucid, but when the placental covering breaks under your touch, your loss of direction causes a splinter to form in your brain that wakes your brain up with an itch to scratch.

Your supernormal state of existence allows you to see beneath the skin of your reality to the actual shared reality. You see the bristled skin of every individual and you dare not touch.

Your life in the waking dream begins to feel normal to you. You imagine a dream within a dream, and yourself trapped inside. You drag yourself down through different lives until you find a life that works for you. This is your reality. You are balanced on that tightrope. Now you just need to stay.
